What's the difference between a health check and a fault diagnosis?
A fault diagnosis is for when something's already gone wrong — we find the specific fault and quote the fix. A health check is proactive: your system seems fine, but we check refrigerant charge, performance, electricals and airflow to catch hidden faults and efficiency losses before they cost you in summer or on your power bill.
Is the fee really credited toward repairs?
Yes. If we find a fault and you go ahead with the repair, the health check fee comes off the repair cost. So if your system is healthy you get peace of mind and a report, and if it's not, the check effectively pays for itself.
How long does it take?
A single split system check is usually around 30–45 minutes. Ducted and multi-head systems take longer because there's more to inspect, which is why they're priced a little higher.
Do I need to be a member?
No — anyone can book a health check. If you join a care plan, you can add the check at signup as a baseline of your system, and members get their discount on any repairs that follow.
